Treatment in the least restrictive environment is the therapeutic goal of Dawn Farm. In the event Dawn Farm staff decide it is necessary to restrict client rights or privileges, the following should be addressed:
The specific rights or privileges to be restricted.
Review periods to reinstate lost privileges and rights.
Methods to reinstate lost privileges and rights.
The purpose or benefit of any type of restriction on rights or privileges.
In addition, to assure that to restrict client rights and privileges are made by staff with appropriate clinical competencies, all such decisions must be approved by the President, Clinical Director or Program Coordinator.

Program staff will document and present the following to their Program Coordinator, Clinical Director or President:
Proposed restriction.
Purpose of the restriction.
Alternatives that have been tried or considered.
Review interval.
Any plans for change of behavior need to be specific, measurable and achievable (SOP for Accountability Agreements)
