Drug testing is an important element of good treatment. Community Corrections provides superior drug testing to instant cups.
In the event we get a suspicious test result, we can send people to Community Corrections for testing for cocaine, marijuana, opiates, heroin, benzodiazepines, methadone, suboxone or alcohol (up to 3-5 days after drinking).
They can also test for several other substances (see menu below), but the cost is significantly higher and these screens must be approved by a program coordinator.
We want the process to be smooth for everyone involved.
Drug testing referral form. (Attached below)
A minute to complete the form.
A day to receive the results.
Your program coordinator should be involved in the decision to send a client for testing.
Complete the form (If the client is not physically present when you are making the referral, write "advised via phone/email" on the client signature line.)
Email (dl-commcorr@washtenaw.org ) the form to Community Corrections.
The client should report to Community Corrections within the specified time frame with ID. (Dawn Farm will be billed. They do NOT have to pay for the test.)
Results will be sent back via email to the person that sent referral form
