Goal- Why is this important?

To ensure that all Dawn Farm facilities are as safe as possible for clients and staff, Dawn Farm has written plans for dealing with health and safety related issues. These plans are included in the orientation of both new staff and new residents. Dawn Farm will conduct regular drills to test the effectiveness of the procedures, site inspections to maintain the physical safety of each location, and regular reporting on incidents, as they arise. The Project Manager will review results and recommendations quarterly and share with admin team.

Responsibilities of Staff

Project Manager, under the direction of Clinical Director and President:

• Oversees Health & Safety
• Creates and maintains Emergency Procedures Manual for each facility
• Creates emergency situation training for staff and clients (drills)
• Implements and monitors staff training
• Schedules and reviews emergency drills for each facility
• Schedules and reviews self-inspections for each facility
• Reviews and reports on incident reports
• Reports results and recommendations quarterly
