Dawn Farm strives to meet the treatment needs of all clients. In an attempt to meet the needs of persons with special speech, language or hearing needs Dawn Farm will:
Identify the languages that are likely to be encountered and estimating the number of LEP persons in the service area.
Have “I speak” cards available so that clients can identify their primary languages
Work with clients to inform them of all service options including referrals to services that specialize in meeting their needs.
Identify interpreter services for the event they are needed to meet a client’s treatment needs.
Keep copies of forms needed to serve clients in the languages we determine as likely to be encountered.
Seek bi-lingual employees when filling positions in the agency.
All clinical and direct care staff will take LEP training upon hire and every 2 years after.
Dawn Farm has a contract with CyraCom for language services.
