Goal - why is this important to us?
To ensure that the Dawn Farm tractor is used in a manner that is as safe as possible for clients and staff. The Dawn Farm tractor will only be used by staff or by a client designated and trained by staff. The tractor key will be kept in the key box in the staff office. There will be no passengers at any time on the tractor or the trailer.
Any unauthorized client use of the tractor may result in client discharge, and any distribution of the tractor key to an unauthorized client may result in staff termination.

Facilitates Coordinator
- Will determine which clients are the designated tractor drivers. This will be determined on a monthly basis.
- Will train the designated tractor drivers regarding tractor operations and safety.
All Staff
- Will ensure that the tractor key is only provided to a designated tractor driver.
- Will monitor tractor use during client work duties.
- Will immediately intervene and retrieve the tractor key if there is any question about the appropriate use of the tractor
- Will contact the Facilities Coordinator with any questions.
Follow-up - what loose ends do I need to wrap up?
Make sure the tractor key is returned after tractor use.
