Family Involvement

Dawn Farm believes strongly in the importance of family involvement in addiction treatment. For this reason Dawn Farm: 

1. Facilitates weekly child visits in residential sites. 

2. Allows weekly family calls in residential sites. 

3. Allows weekly child calls in residential sites.  

4. Provides a public education series on addiction that all families are invited to attend. 

5. Provide family counseling where appropriate and requested. 

6. Permits regular family visits during the course of residential treatment. 

7. Permit “off site interactions” with family where appropriate and requested during residential treatment. 

Dawn Farm may occasionally limit family involvement in treatment where there is suspicion or report of abuse or a belief among staff that family involvement is likely to interfere with achieving treatment goals. This will only be done with the approval of the Program Coordinator and Clinical Director.
