All clients interested in treatment at Dawn Farm must call themselves and complete an intake screening with the Intake Team. Clients will then be placed on the appropriate program intake list or "waitlist" for services based on their funding source and treatment needs. Lists of people seeking treatment for each program are maintained by our Intake Team via our electronic medical record, Apricot. (More information on tiers can be found below).

Clinical staff and Medical Director will review any clients that meet the above criteria prior to placement on a waitlist. Review may include obtaining medical and psychiatric records from past treatment providers, including medication history. Clients will be informed if they are found ineligible for admission and referred to other treatment providers to accommodate their needs.
Dawn Farm's waitlist is maintained by our Intake Team. Once clients are screened and added to the waitlist they will be scheduled for a full Level of Care assessment to determine their treatment needs. Clients are routinely contacted when they are placed on the "waitlist". During check in calls, clients are asked about their recent substance use and any changes in medical information or if they have their required medications. Any client that is in need of immediate care at the time of their check in can be referred to another provider (or hospital if needed).
Dawn Farm divides residential program waitlists into the following tiers (there is no tier system for outpatient or transitional housing):
