As a courtesy to our clients and at their request, Dawn Farm will store a limited amount of client valuables in a secure manner. Dawn Farm reserves the right to request that clients make alternative arrangements for unusual items or large sums of money.
Dawn Farm does not commingle client funds with Agency funds.
Dawn Farm is not responsible for client funds and valuables.
Residential clients are allowed to have a limited amount of personal spending money each month. Clients may choose to keep this money themselves or to store this money in the safe in the Finance Office.
Dawn Farm maintains a log for each client with funds in the safe. All additions to and subtractions from the fund balance are recorded on the log and initialed by the client and a staff member.
Residential clients are allowed to have a limited amount of personal spending money each month. Clients must keep this money themselves. All client funds in excess of the monthly limit or valuables must be stored in the locked cabinet in the staff office.
Dawn Farm maintains an envelope for each client. All contents and additions to and subtractions from the envelope are recorded on the envelope and initialed by the client and a staff member.
If funds are received after hours or on weekends, the funds are stored temporarily in the locked medicine closet.
Clients may choose to keep their money themselves or to store their wallets/purses in the locked staff closet. Dawn Farm documents on the client’s Belonging Sheet that the wallet/purse has been locked up. Dawn Farm reserves the right to require that a client deposit money in his/her personal bank account if the amount is unreasonably large.
