CONTRIBUTION TO MISSION & CONTINUUM OF CARE
The goal of Dawn Farm is to remove the barriers that people with addictions face to entering into recovery. The Receptionist Office Manager at Dawn Farm furthers this mission by acting as a gateway for callers and visitors and provides clerical support to staff.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Answers incoming telephone calls on a multi-line phone, determines purpose of call and forwards calls to appropriate person or program
Assists all new admissions into long-term residential with intake process.
Takes and delivers messages
Answers general questions about treatment and admission and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors, as needed
Receives, sorts, and routes mail
Maintains the staff phone extensions lists
Schedules barn tours, maintains barn rental reservations and preparations for rentals
Answers requests for records and documents all records requests in the client database
Oversees maintenance requests for copier and phone systems
Orders and distributes office supplies for the agency
Assists with processing monetary and in-kind donations, including entering gifts in the donor database and readying thank-you letters
Assists with Dawn Farm mailings
Manages the gift shop, in collaboration with the Development Director
Completes other duties, as requested
Participates in all required trainings, staff inservices, and special events

Able to interact with clients and family members in an empathetic manner while maintaining professional boundaries

CREDENTIALS
1-3 years minimum experience in an office environment
CPR certification
RECOVERY
At least eighteen months of continuous sobriety, if in recovery from addiction.
If ever a client in any Dawn Farm program, at least one year since the date of last service.
